Subsea Production Systems Architecture
Are you interested in participating in a single course for Professional Development or studying for a masters' degree whilst working? This course enables the participants to develop subsea production systems that are technically, economical, and environmentally feasible, as it takes a holistic view of customer needs, modularization, and concept selection.
What is Subsea Production Systems Architecture?
The course focuses on the importance of field trade-offs in concepts, systems, and field-layout modularization. This course should give the participants a holistic view of customer needs, requirements, and regional preferences for Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
Through the course, you will get an introduction to field development including oil and gas reservoirs, drilling, production, intervention, and maintenance.
The course is highly applicable for Engineers working in energy and subsea systems such as Systems engineers, Subsea engineers, mechanical engineers, petroleum engineers, Engineering managers, tender managers, and project managers.
Completing the course, the student shall be capable to participate in a team preparing the architecture of a SPS.
Instruction
The course is organized as intensive one-week course with 5 days of lectures and work in groups. Masterstudents and others taking courses for credit will in addition work on a written assignment that is due 10 weeks after the end of the course week. A completed course with approved written assignment will give 7.5 study points.
