Scandinavian Studies for International Students

Scandinavian studies for International Students a campus programme which gives students an opportunity to explore dimensions of the Norwegian way of life by focusing on Norway language and culture – national as well as regional and local.

Target group

The programme Scandinavian Studies for International Students is open for citizens from the EU and EEA countries. This programme does not meet the requirements for a study permit for non-EU students applying from abroad or wishing to continue studies in Norway. However, non-EU citizens already living in Norway on other grounds are able to apply.

Scandinavian Studies seeks to provide international students a semester or year of academic study and social opportunity to study and explore dimensions of the Norwegian language and way of life.

What you will learn
