English Linguistics and Language Acquisition (Master's Programme)

The Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) in English Linguistics and Language Acquisition is an international master's programme which provides successful applicants with the opportunity to specialise within the fields of language acquisition, language processing and cognition and English language and linguistics. The programme is linked to one of the priority research areas at the Department of Language and Literature: Language and Cognition.

This programme is especially suitable for those who want to become researchers in the field of language and linguistics, or for those who want to become teachers. Some of our previous students now work as lecturers at universities in their home countries.
