Internasjonal master i landskapsarkitektur 2 år
The International Master of Landscape Architecture gives our students a platform of skills, competence and knowledge, based on design and research, to operate as professional landscape architects. It fosters the capacity to understand and act in diverse contexts, ranging from cities to extreme landscapes and territories.
The study programme provides students with the knowledge and skills to become effective practitioners and researchers in the field of landscape architecture.
The aim of the programme is to train design-driven landscape architects who can operate globally, contributing to sustainable development across scales and geographies. Landscape architects graduating from this programme will contribute with new knowledge and methods for shaping the public realm, in accordance with high standards of international professional and academic practice.
The International Master of Landscape Architecture is grounded on studio-based instruction in an environment of close interaction with Scandinavian and international practitioners, researchers, and educators. AHO promotes experimentation with diverse landscape media.
The two-year programme is structured around three core topics: Commons, Systems and Form. Each studio course is flanked by an elective course ranging from theory, history or technology. The fourth semester is an independent diploma semester.
