City University London or "City" can trace its origins back to 1894, and became a full university in 1966. It is today a fully recognized and accredited institution of higher education in the United Kingdom education system. The University is situated close to the London, on the edge of the financial district, and also a short bus ride to all the many theatres and shops of the West End.

The University offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in computing, buisness, engineering and mathematics, law, journalism, music, social sciences (economics, politics, sociology, psychology, and media studies) and also in most health sciences (nursing & midwifery, optometry, radiography, speech therapy).

City has very close contacts with different leading professional institutions and buisnesses worldwide, and as much as more than two thirds of its courses are recognized by their relevant professional bodies. Many of these courses include an optional internship with leading international companies as, for example, Microsoft and Rolls Royce. Application qualifications

The University recognizes many international qualifications and advice is given on policy regarding any education system to students before they make a formal application. Undergraduate applications should always be made through UCAS, the University and Colleges Admissions Service and Postgraduate directly to the University.
